Granite crushing & processing

Granite is a hard, igneous rock with a coarse-grained texture that is widely used in construction and landscaping. The process of crushing granite involves the use of specialized machinery to break the stone into manageable sizes. This process is typically carried out in a series of stages, from initial blasting of the granite quarry to the final shaping of the stone for use in building projects.

Granite crushing and processing
The first step in granite processing is primary crushing. Large granite blocks are crushed into smaller pieces using a primary crusher. The size of the crushed granite pieces is usually between 0-30mm. After the primary crushing, the granite is then screened to separate the different sizes of material.

Next, the crushed granite is conveyed to a secondary crusher, which further reduces the size of the granite. The secondary crusher may be a cone crusher or impact crusher, depending on the hardness and size of the granite. The crushed granite is then screened again to separate it into different sizes. After the secondary crushing and screening, the granite is transported to a tertiary crushing plant, where it is crushed and screened again to produce even smaller sizes of granite. The final product size is typically between 0-5mm.

After the granite has been crushed, it is then screened to remove any unwanted debris or materials. The screened material is then sorted by size and sent to the appropriate storage or processing facility. Depending on the intended use of the granite, it may be further processed into different shapes or sizes, such as slabs or tiles, before being shipped to its final destination.

Applications
Granite is a kind of versatile building material. Granite has many characteristics, such as rich in resources, wide distribution and varieties. Granite is used for building houses, roads and bridges in folk traditions. Granite belongs a special ore which contains much quartz and rarely iron. The crystal combines very tight, fine texture, acid-proof, corrosion resistance and wear resistance. It is a high-quality corrosion-resistant material that can be used in chemical, metallurgy, thermal power, cement, printing, defense facilities and other fields.
